Turn a lecture recording into clean study notes

Record your class with your phone's voice recorder, then upload it. Memofai transcribes it, keeps the teaching, leaves out the jokes and tangents, pulls out tests, deadlines and readings, and turns it all into notes you can quiz yourself on.

How it works

  1. 1

    Record

Use your phone's own voice recorder; it keeps going with the screen locked.

  2. 2

    Upload

M4A, MP3, WAV and more, up to 50 MB (about 1½ hours from a phone).

  3. 3

    Study

Read the notes, jump to key moments in the audio, and take a quiz on just the teaching.

What you get

Questions

How long can a lecture recording be?

Up to 50 MB per file, which is about an hour and a half from a typical phone voice recorder. Long recordings are split automatically.

Does it remove jokes and off-topic talk?

Yes. The notes keep the teaching; jokes, stories and tangents are listed separately rather than mixed in.

How long is the audio kept?

The recording is kept for 30 days. The transcript and notes are kept for good.
